Billy Gaines is a Recording Artist, Singer, Songwriter,Author, and Speaker. He’s a native of Richmond, VA having moved to Nashville, TN in 1984.
He is one half of the Contemporary Christian Music duo Billy and Sarah Gaines. The duo was signed to Benson Records in 1986 and recorded 5 albums under that agreement. Those 5 albums garnered 2 Dove Awards and 6 number one radio singles.
In 1997 Billy became a partner, and A&R Representative with Sound House/Warner Alliance Records. Under that label the duo released their “Come on Back” CD produced by Michael Omartian. They touched millions of people around the world through radio and television and live performances.
In 2001 Billy began his solo ministry and career and in 2006 Billy released his first solo album “Ten Thousand Angels,” a vocal and piano hymns project featuring Bernie Herms on piano.
Two of Billy’s most recent accomplishments include his singing and acting role as the character Moses in the Kathie Lee Gifford movie, “The Way” and his newly released memoir, “Other Side of This Trial” ...My Story, His Plan, His Hand.
